We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Kent Poon has joined our core team as Chief Technology Officer of Montreux Jazz Festival China.
Kent is not only a pioneer and leader in the field of sound engineering but also in the whole music supply chain from producing, recording, streaming and audiophile playback – thereby using and inventing state-of-the-art technologies to create immersive experiences.
Kent works with the world’s leading research institutions, and he is a long-time partner of Montreux Jazz Festival.
With his vast knowledge based on deep research in AR/VR, immersive and 3D surround audio technology, Kent will be key for implementing the visionary digital strategy of MJFC 2021. He will fuse reality with illusion and merge live and virtual performances on stage in Hangzhou – for the whole world to enjoy.
